Double Oaks Golf Club, Commerce, GA

This course is a great layout through some nice houses. It plays longer than it looks on paper although 1 or 2 par 4's are reachable. Be aware that during dry summers this course's greens sometimes struggle. The other 9 months they are usually fine.

A very nice course for all level of players. Beginners will enjoy the wide fairways and low handicappers will be challenged by the length and subtle elevation changes. The golf course is maintained at a high level for a local public course with great lies in the fairways and smooth rolling bent grass greens. Shop staff were very helpful to us as new golfers to the course and the shop had a selection of merchandise that surprised us for a public course.

The greens were in horrible shape. The staff made no mention about the temporary "greens" being set up on several holes. I say "greens" because they just cut down areas that are usually in the rough and threw a hole in there. The course really should be shut down until they get it improved. The worst part was that no one told us about them and they still charged everyone full price.
