Enjoyable course to play. Not too difficult - errant shots remain in play but usually cost a stroke. The course is always in good condition.

I really like this course. With the wide fairways and short overall distances you would think the course would be easier. However, it plays harder than you would expect. It defends it's score with well placed bunkers and trees along with some of the thickest rough you will find. That along with trying to concentrate on scoring while walking among an old apple orchard in the middle of some of the most beautiful scenery in NE GA make for a challenging yet very enjoyable round.

A good driver shot and a short iron will reach most par 4's but outside the fairway is about 2" of manicured rough that eats balls! Greens were fast and overall course maintenance was good. I felt the price was a little steep and pro-shop help was rude.

I liked this course, it is a very affordable course. The greens are nice, they roll true. I really like the layout, the elevation changes are surprising. The ammenities definately lack, however there is a driving range, chipping area, and practice green. I would definately recommend this course for the price.

Apple Mountain

I like this course. It's only about 6,300 yards from the blue tees. It is fairly hilly, but no really blind shots. The fairway turf is pretty good and the greens roll well. Not a lot of sand, but what sand there is is strategically placed. There is really no food service, just vending machine crackers and soft drinks. If you want a sandwich you'd better bring it with you.
