The Course is closed. It had a lot of potential, but was never maintained. The greens were like putting on my backyard.

I've played this course several times over the last 15 years. I have seen it at it's worst. The improvements over the last 2 years are impressive. If you have not played there in a while, give it a try. I think that you will enjoy it for the price.

The greens were not too bad; however, the rest of the course sort of reminds you of a cow pasture. A lot of clay and not too much grass.

My first course playing in Georgia. I am originally from San Diego, so I am a bit spoiled. I am not sure how most GA courses are but this one wasn't great. Staff was very friendly. As far as the course goes. It was layed out pretty well, but the conditions were not very good. Fairways a bit tore up.. as well as the Greens. I was putting on one green and I actually had to go through a small bunker to get to the hole. As far as busy early mornings are easy to get on M-F, busier in the Afternoon. The weather was great and I enjoyed the quietness of the course.. except for one hole when I was chased by a dog while riding on my cart.

What a low class knave....

I would just like to take a moment and defend our Lady of the Land, Creekside golf course. The previous postee, the dolt that he is, accused Creekside of having no ammenities: not only are we installing a new driving range but we are the only golf course in the world to plant clover as our fairway primary grass! He claims there is no maintenance? We regularly paint our pristine fairways with the finest lead-free green paint that money can buy! One could eat off our porta-johns. AND, we have engineered our course to be divot proof using solid rock as our soil! Our customers thus do not have to replace divots! HA! And, he detracts from our scenery....The scenery is splendid what with our hand-crafted mosaic-style multicolored moss patchwork dotting the fairways, feral cats roaming for your viewing pleasure, and lush goose turds dotting the greens. Our greens also are purposefully cut to different grass lengths to add difficulty to the course: dirt and roots are also used to fortify our greens as with any professional golf course. AND HOW DARE YOU MAKE FUN OF OUR MULTI-LEVEL TEE BOXES; Quasimodo would appreciate being able to hit a ball level with his knees from the tee. After all we're not all spring chickens!!! So now I must take my leave, oh doubting Thomas, now that I have rebuked you and your misguided claims. Mngmt.

(not really the post of a creekside owner, etc. this is a joke...founded in truth unfortunately)

Creek Side

This is a terrible course. The difficulty is all artificial and stems from having to hit out of huge patchs of weeds or bare dirt on what is considered a "fairway". I once lost a ball that was near the cart path in one of these supposed "fairways". There are even bare patches of dirt on the "greens". The teeboxs alternate between sand or weeds as high as your tee. They have one common characteristic however they are all as crooked and unlevel as Quasimodo's back. Don't play here, ever. You have been warned!

If you're not Tiger!

Pros: A good course for practicing on one’s game. The rates are very reasonable and there are a number of challenging holes. There are plenty of doglegs on the back nine to increase the difficulty along with a few really steep hills off the tee. Also, a well placed shot is not always rewarded with an easy follow-up shot. Many of the fairways have difficult slopes, leaving one with some type of up hill, down hill or side hill lie. Greens have improved tremendously and the staff is very friendly.

Cons: No driving range available (although they may be working to put one in) at this time. There are also a handful of tee boxes that are either uneven or have a slightly uphill lie and some of the fairways are quite hard.

Nice Course

Good greens that are in great shape for late November. They seem to be working to improve the course. New owners + a new name. It is not cramped or narrow. The back nine is a bit more senic. It is not as challengeing as UGA or ACC, but it is a good alternative.
