Course Reviews

Even though this course has great greens and I feel has a great layout, the people who play here are on a "racetrack". I mean the regulars who feel that t5hey own the course. I am a 7 handicap and although this course gets a lot of traffic, i felt rushed every time I played it. The rates are not good in comparison to other courses with the same quality all the way around. The clubhouse staff are nice although they try to "push" The insider program to the max and the starters a bit rude. I live near there, but it isn't my home course. That has to tell you something!

Course is average as the previous post has said. Course layout was not too difficult to navigate around. There are a handful of water hazards to watch out for. The greens I felt were better than the rest of the course itself. While the course was average, the greens rolled better than avg. I would play here again because it is a good course for the amount of money you pay.

This course is average and everything you expect from an average golf course, but there is one thing that makes this course upsetting. They are directly underneath the airport jet traffic. I say this as no overstatement that the jets are CONSTANTLY overhead! As soon as one leaves out of ear range, another is coming in. I know this sounds kind of trivial, but after recently playing there three separate times and even on a weekday, the jets are constant. Part of my golf play is to relax. Feeling like you are on a tarmac is not worth the time...at least for me.

Me and my buddy played this course today. The greens were nice, it would have been nice if they would have blowed the putting greens to remove some of the pine straw. Overall the staff was friendly and the course was nice. Not crowded and pretty decent price. If your in the Tampa area you should check it out.

The greens are being filled with sod. They are letting the tee boxes go to all sand. This course is a mess and won't play there again for the money that they're asking for.

There are alot of houses here but in the summer there are bikins in those back yards.....Have played here a few times and have never had a round where all 18 greens had grass on them, seem to always be some with black spots on them and no grass(mold perhaps not sure)... A nice course design, with no two holes alike....(played again on 10-18-08 greens much better and new management has this place on the right track..staff is friendly and conditions are best ive seen here in quite a while)**took an out of state guest here on a saturday morning, called days ahead to find out the early bird rates, which we were told to be 35 before 730am so we booked a 730 tee time to get him back to the airport on time, we got there 20 mins early and were ready to go-- Still had to wait till after 8am to tee off due to a scramble(that wasnt mentioned) and were shocked to find out we got slammed with a $48 green fee...sign says 35 before 730 and 45 730-12..BAD BUSINESS to over charge like that after booking the so called "early bird" special...not cool

Took my churchu out for a Saturday afternoon round of golf. Kevin and rest of his staff was great. Truth in advertising..He told us upfront about the temporary green on number one and some bad patches on the other greens but could not have asked for a better price. Cart lady went above and beyond the call going back to get us some G2 gatorade on more than one occassion. Starter got us out in a abbreviated shotgun start and it worked out perfectly as all of our groups finished at around the same time. Definitely will be back again. Thanks Kevin!!!!!!

Not a bad course.....but nothing to write home about. Plenty of other places I would play in Tampa instead for the same price.

Nothing spectacular. The scenery is nothing to write home about. There are too many houses way too close to the holes. Tee times are too close to each other, felt rushed all afternoon and had to play the front 9 again because the back 9 was too backed up.

Too many houses, but really nice course.

Northdale Golf and Tennis Club

Though the clubhouse is stark, the course is well maintained and very nice. The fairways and greens are in good condition. Tough enough, with some tricky greens. No driving range, so you may take a few holes to warm up.
