Glades Golf Course


The 18-hole "Glades" course at the Colony West Golf Club facility in Tamarac, Florida features 4,207 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 65. The course rating is 59.3 and it has a slope rating of 91 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Bruce Devlin/Robert von Hagge, the Glades golf course opened in 2013. Troon Indigo Sports manages this facility, with Kandace Clatterbaugh, LPGA as the Director of Golf.

This course is in a state of severe disrepair. The Glades and the Champ track dont have much in the way of facilities once you get away from the clubhouse. The (one) water fountain on the Glades is broken and there is none on the Champ. Weeds are more prevalent than Bermuda grass and the greens are bare in many places. The course difficulty comes from the lack of maintence not the layout. Waste of time and money and a sad demise to a once great facility.

Nice course. Added difficulty for water hazards. Sand traps center, right and left.
