Club Renaissance, Sun City Center, FL

New owners (ClubLink) have put a lot of money and effort into making this a terrific experience from the time you arrive. Great staff, excellent food, fabulous clubhouse, and the course is pretty, challenging, fun, and really well maintained. When ClubLink took over, they let non Sun City Center residents not only play Renaissance and the other courses there (Scepter, Falcon Watch, Sandpiper, etc.) but you can join and play all the other courses with one membership. You can also play their courses in Fort Lauderdale (Woodlands and Heron Bay). Even better if you're a Canadian, as they have something like 50 courses in Ontario and Quebec, including Glen Abbey where they play the Canadian Open.

It just does not feel like the course is completed yet. Parking lot was too small; cars had to park on the grass! The experience is not as good as at other WCI courses like Waterlefe or Venetian or Tiburon or Raptor Bay. Not worth the long-ish trip to Sun City or the extra $$$ to pay for a WCI- experience that isn't one!
