As a newbie golfer, I've played most of my rounds on this course. Good course for the beginner/novice to get their feet wet playing on an actual course instead of just swatting the ball on a driving range. The greens are decent although there are some bare spots on some greens and nearly all greens have dandelions that have been cut even with the turf of the green. The recent re-seeding of the greens covered many of the smaller bare spots. All in all, though, the greens are definitely serviceable. The fairways vary from fairly wide to very narrow with the occasional tree limb making things interesting for those who are used to getting a lot of loft when taking the 2nd shot on a par 4 or trying for the green in one shot on a few of the par 3 holes. Most of the sand traps are located near the greens and on average are not very big (approx 8-10yds in diameter). Careful with these sand traps. With the recent rains, the sand has become hard since it hasn't been turned, raked or in any way loosened up.Watch out for the 11th hole! No real fairway to speak of since you need to get the ball over a water hazard that takes up most of the fairway area from approx 10ft off the tee box up until about 35yds before center green. This hole is on the cover of their score card on the right. The 11th hole green is basically cut in 1/2 at the bottom right edge of the score card.
