overpriced, gets too much play, must play again

I took my son, for his wedding gift, to the Stadium Course, Memorial Day weekend. Our Fore Caddie was Scott and he was outstanding. We had a great time and the course was still it top condition from the tournament held there three weeks earlier. Even though our handicaps are around 25 we were treated with respect. They cleaned my clubs, my golf shoes, and engraved our complimentary Bag Tag. This all made for the perfect round of golf that my son and I will never forget. I only wish it was $250 instead of $375 per round I spent. My total was $900 but it was worth it when I saw my son's eyes on the 17th Island hole when, from the Pro box, he tee'd off and landed it on the green. I would gladly do it again but with a video camera. Our hats are off to TPC Sawgrass and all of their employees - you are amazing. Thanks

There is really nothing negative to say about TPC Sawgrass. The only exception is that it is expensive, but you know that going into it. Everything about my round was fantastic. The club house is huge and has everything you could want. The staff is friendly and attentive. The practice facility it top notch. The caddies are enjoyable and helpful. The course is something special. You will learn how good the pros really are. 17 does have a magical feeling and I felt honored to drop one in the water. I would love to play it again some day.

great golf course to play once. if you play in the fall, they send you off the 10th tee first such that you finish 17, just fyi. great course, great par 4s, risk/reward par 5s. also play Valley course - very good.

Beautiful, well maintained, professional staff...but then what would you expect for $250.00 per round in August.

A true gem of an experience. The staff is top shelf and the course lives upto the hype. Maintenance of the course is perfection and the greens play the way they are suppose to, if you read break - it will break. The clubhouse is a work of art suitable for royalty. This course does not have the 3 hardest finishing holes in golf, but rather the 4 hardest finishing holes in golf. Each hole offers its own personality, beauty, and challenge. Having attended the tournament for many years, it was great to play the course "The Players" play.

I must say that the money spent on the improvements has made a massive difference. I played the same course three years ago and the greens just don't compare...absolutely awesome! To be honest, i was put off by the price of the green fees last September, but i went through an operator (Carr Golf) and got much better value for money. I advise booking a round as part of a package to the area, as there are four other championship courses within 2 miles of TPC Sawgrass and the Sawgrass Marriott Resort, who own the tee times. Best of all, I hit the 17th green...and made the puitt!!! I can retire happy!!
