i am a resident and tried using a coupon from a book purchased from a fundraiser they advertised in....buy 1 get one free greens, of course expecting to pay cart fees like $25. Asking the price orig it was $55pp and then I asked the cart fee and I got a price of $55. They stated if I were 2 use the coupon I would have to pay out of town fee which was quoted at $110. My feeling on that was, what a rip off! Chose to play at Carolina Club for that price.

I agree this course is overpriced at full-price but since I was a Wyndham resort owner at Palm-Aire, I played it at significantly reduced rates. If you can play it with any kind of discount it is an OK value. I played it twice during the last week of Feb. 2011. Tee-box and fairway conditions were good, and the greens were very good.
