Free Range balls and reasonable rates. Greens were in great shapes. Tee boxes had no grass. Much off the fairway was dead. Did not see any sprinklers except for at greens. Thought fairways should have been better kept. It is frustrating to hit a nice drive in the center of the fairway and not have any decent grass to take your next iron shot off of.

Very nice course that was well kept. Excellent value if you get the twilight fees. $29 I think it was. Very challenging course with all the water around. probably water on 14 or 15 of the 18 holes. Very scenic. Not unusual to see 3 or 4 gators catching some rays.

A definate must play.

Nice course with great history. Greens in good shape. Fairways have a lot of rough spots around the edges and many bunkers need to be reworked. Compared to Gulf Shores courses this is a bargain worth driving over for. Good mix of open fairways and water hazards.

Perdido Bay Golf Club is a great value. At only $59 for 18 holes with cart it is hard to beat. I have played this golf course five times now and each time I am pleasantly surprised with the improvements that have been made. The greens and fairways are well manicured. The golf course is a good layout and a great test of golf. With a good golf course and great staff this is a course that I will definitely play again. Without a doubt the best value in the area.

Lots of water and several sand traps. Not an overly difficult course. It was probably much better kept up back in the days where they played some major tournaments. Some of the bunkers needed some work but the fairways were in excellent shape. They were about like carpet. The greens were slower than I expected but they may have just not mowed them for a couple days. Overall a pretty nice course for $39 from 11-4, $29 after 4. I had fun but I will search out other courses if I come back.

This Golf course if well designed and a true test of golfing skills. The conditions and maintenance of the course is excellent. This undoubtedly is one of the best courses to play in the Pensacola area. The cost is a bit pricey though which may or may not limit you in playing there frequently. I love this couse!

Save your money!

This course is the former home of the PGA tour's Pensacola Open in the 70's and early 80's. But it's fallen on hard times. Many of the sand traps were completely washed out with just hard mud in them. The fairways were not too bad and neither were the greens. It's about the most flat course that I've ever played. Many of the holes have lakes (or more descriptive - ditches) down both sides. Even the homes that border the course look like they've seen much better times.

There are many courses in the area that are about the same price, but much better maintained and much more fun to play.
