Tee boxes well worn. The greens were burned and poorly repaired in some areas. Fairways were plush and playable, the rough was dead grass. Not the best course I've played and for the money should have been cheaper. Staff was nice.

THE BEST DEAL IN THE AREA. COURSE CONTINUES TO INPROVE.
PAR FOURS ARE AS LONG AS ANY COURSE IN AREA, FOR THE AMATURE GOLFER. GREENS HAVE INPROVED 100 PERCENT. STAFF IS GREAT. OWNER IS FAIR AND FRIENDLY. I WOULD LOVE TO BE PART OF THEIR STAFF. WE PLAY THEIR TWO TO THREE TIMES A WEEK.THANKS FOR BEING REASONABLE WITH YOUR PATRONIZERS, AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

My playing partners and I all agree that this was the worst course we have ever played. Fairways were all weeds not a blade of grass to be seen. Greens were more mud than grass and even if you could putt the ball just bounced towards the hole. Attempted to wash my ball a as I put it in the ball washer several large roaches exited the ball washer. I know for $20 you can't expect much but this was a terrible golf experience. Had to play here because it was the only course we could get on that day. Now I know why. Lesson learned!!!

I play this course weekly. Great freindly staff, reasonable price, very poor maintenance!! Last few weeks has seen some improvements but this course has a long way to go. Easy course, wide open but get off fairway good luck finding ball in knee high grass. Great course for beginners or hackers.

it is a dump..don't ever play here..fairways are sand..greens are horrible

Reviewed January 16, 2008

I played here 1-8-08 and enjoyed my time. The course is a tight tree lined with only 4 water holes strategically placed as well are the sand bunker. The grounds do need serious attention for being a country club I expected more. Ths staff is friendly and helpful. If you are an early hitter the price before 8am is 19.99 after 8am goes to 24.99 and later goes to regular price.

Reviewed August 31, 2007

The 8th green is non-existent. There was a flag stuck in the mud.

Course is in need of some work as well as most others in the general area. The staff are nice people and are very helpful. Some fairways have patches of hardpacked sand and some weeds, but with good ball placement there are very nicely groomed sections of fairway, and with the rainfall lately the greens and fairways are filling in quite nicely. Most of the greens are tucked nicely behind well groomed bunkers which demand a fairly accurate shot to place on the greens, which i would rate as a medium speed. All and all the course is a deffinate gold as far as the price meets playability.

Nice "local course" that has talked about a complete overhaul in 2008

Tree lined faiways often run side by side. Rough (and sometimes fairways) is often dirt / sand. Hazards and bunkers make good approach shots important to score well. Greens are often in need of work. Playing position and keeping the ball out of the trees important to score well. Very friendly staff. A nice "local course" but not one I'd travel to play. A good value.

nice layout and people, reasonable price, but needs a ton of work

they really should close until they get some of the repairs done. The course does have potential if they complete the repairs.

Played 6/8/2006. Course in really bad shape.

I've played this course once a year for the past 10 years or so. It's not a very demanding course, but the people are friendly and the price is reasonable. The course is usually in nice shape. This year, the Ormond Beach area is about 10" behind in rainfall. This course has not put enough water out to keep the conditions acceptable. They've lost almost every green. The fairways are hard, thin, and full of weeds. They are in the process of improvements including a new pond near the 11th green, but it will be months before this course recovers. Please call to verify conditions before wasting your money here.
