This course is pretty tired. While the layout is good, the conditions of the fairways, bunkers, rough, etc. are not well kept. The greens are fast, and quite small, but a bit rough. It would be worth playing if not for the fact that there are better courses in the area for the same fee. The staff are all very friendly.

Over crowded at all times of the year. So, fairways are in very rough shape. Now, it's a cheap place to play and it shows it in wear and tear. As with most courses in the area, no marshall on the course to control pace of play. A twist here though is that they allow large groups to play together so it's very slow going. Not as slow as Riverbend but most of this course, well all of this course is lined with houses and or roads. It is what it is, they lowered the prices to compete and now it's golf for the masses.

Halifax is a course that will test you depending on the tee box you play from. The doglegs will ensure you use your brain and plan your shots out ahead of time on some holes. The greens are in great shape and the members and guests seem to respect that by fixing ball marks.
A great course for the money. A must play in the Daytona area.

Great value course. Not too challenging but a few long doglegs with some fairway bunkers in the way. Staff was very friendly and the pub/restaraunt was very nice. Area is currently being developed so there is not a lot to look at on some holes. Other than that, plenty of large beautiful trees and some gorgeous homes. Rough is not built up at all, just dirt/sand. Overall a great value $43 w/cart on Sunday and I would definitely play again.

Long course, with some degree of difficulty but not imposible to score. Greens were in very good shape and overall maintenance was good

Great value for the dollar! Player Friendly and maintained just as well as any Super Premium Course. Very long course, so be prepared to hit alot of Long Woods. Staff are easily the best in Flagler County. Food is wonderful and the bar(s) is stocked. One of the friendliest clubhouses I have ever been to, the members are truly pleasent.

I have to agree with Phil. Halifax Plantation is a great place to spend a day of golf.
The fairways and greens was in great shape. The course is easy to play and yet a little challenging.
After our round we visited the dining area and the food was outstanding though the service was a little slow. I will definitely play this course again.

A great day at Halifax

Halifax Plantation is a great place to spend a day of golf. The facilities are first rate, and the course is very friendly yet challenging. After golf is over you have to spend time in the pub. They have outstanding food and service! I would play time and time again, the perfect place to join for membership.
