There are very few courses that can measure up to the New course for fun factor. The course has inviting fairways that can lull you into thinking you are in for an easy route to a low score, but it is certainly a thinking mans course. Your course management skills will come into play with abundant bunkers and and tricky undulating greens. Their is plenty of trouble to be found, although the hazards are few in number. The rates are astronomical in season, but if you watch closely online good rates can be found. The course is in impeccable shape, and the clubhouse and practice facilities are wonderful. The pace of play is horrible, as the course is usually overbooked on weekends, but just relax and enjoy a fun course.

Nice course alot of the holes seemed to be alike, therefore not as good as expected. Do not pay rack rate- its not worth it! Rack rate- $150, golfnow- $48!

A fun course in very good shape. Unfortunately the afternoon was marred by a 5 1/2 plus round, finishing in the dark. There course was ridiculously overbooked and not a ranger on the course to speed things up.

Played here in a regional qualifier for the Jack Nicklaus International Invitational USA Game on August 5, 2008. Great course, great staff. Very HOT Florida(almost 90 degrees at 9:00 a.m.) golf but the ice cold towels were a blessing. The greens were no problem for me at all. Some of the double greens will save you if you go too long. No rough is a good thing too. Avoid the 170 bunkers if you can (I didn't get into one all day) as they are deep pot bunkers. Overall, you'll really enjoy this course!

This course was built in the St. Andrews fashion. Lots of pothole bunkers. So it was the first time I've had to play target golf. It was fun. I basically put the driver away and played for accuracy. The greens were much faster than I'm used to so the putting was a challenge. Good experience for Florida. It was HOT HOT Florida golf but they had range helpers with bins of ice water and fresh icy cold wet towels. What a blessing. Nice people. Nice restaraunt bar, lovely villas.
