Staff was nice but course disappointing, not sure how they received a 4.5 rating. Seems like maintenance has not been performed in quite a while. Pictures on internet do not match what we found. Possibly in better shape at differentnd time of year but we found better maintained courses for less money in the area.

The layout is great with several tee options to challenge all levels. The greens are pretty good, although a few had patches in them or diseased areas. The bunkers are horrible!! When there is sand, it is an inch or two deep at best, but all bunkers have rocks in them bigger than golf balls. The starters are friendly, but the General Manager could care less about customer service. We only play it because it is familiar, but it has to be at the right price next time or we won't be back.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The course has some issues that need to be addressed. The green on #4 had several holes, odd shaped and dead spots, other greens as well but this one was the worst. The bunkers had some rocks the size of golf balls, strange but true. I removed three rocks and left them on the cart so the staff could see them. The traps had the worst sand I have ever seen, with rocks and shells. We will play Riverwood and Kingsway which have excellent greens and bunkers.

solid 4 out of 5 here. a bit expensive in the winter (late January) but the GPS and range balls included helped a bit with that. I got sent off the back as single which i didnt mind having not played the course before. Although i was told to take my time and be back at the turn at a certain time to not run into other groups on the 1st tee, which was weired. i played 2 balls on every hole and chipped and putted around the greens as well and was still back 10 minutes before they told me to be and found 2 groups waiting to tee off and another in the fairway as well as 1 on the green. This kinda peeved me but good thing im pretty easy going. I got a drink and a snack (both lackluster choice options)and putted it out on the practice green (2 good practice greens, 1 /w bunkers). I had to wait until the group ahead of me was a good hole and a half in front of me and it was smooth sailing. I liked the course even though it winds through housing on every hole pretty much. Great conditions, funky & fast greens and a challenge.
