This course is an ok course if you are wanting to work on your irons. It is a short course, with the par 4's reachable in two without touching your woods. The greens are just fairway grass cut short. Your best bet is to count everything over 6 feet as an automatic two putt and pick up. It's not going to be in good shape, but if you just want to practice your iron shots into tight fairways and tiny greens, then it may be worth your while.

This was everything that the reviews had set it up to be. It is an "old Florida" course. But "Old Florida" doesn't have to be backwoods redneck. I knew we were in for a special treat when I saw the man carrying his banjo into the ?clubhouse?. To my amazement, I was looking for the first tee box only to find out I was standing in the middle of it. But what was the "signature hole" of this course was the 9th green with the palm tree in the middle and what seemed like a cart path around the hazard. Unfortunately, I discovered that the sand was just part of the green and a courtesy drop was not in the local rules. By the way, If there aren't minnows in the water it is considered casual water. But if a duck is in the "pond" I guess it is considered a water hazard eventhough the tee box is in the middle of the puddle! It is a good $5 course to take your grandson to, but don't expect much more!

This is an old fashioned golf course. so all yall can get your yankee behinds back up north. go play on augusta or bay hill if that floats your boat. but the Reservation is a simple, down home kinda place where one can play a care-free round of golf. its not modern, nor up-to-date but the regulars who play here appreciate the more personal, welcoming, side of this place. Its a ma and pa golf course where grandpa can take his grandson out for a round of nine holes while pettin a couple dogs and looking at a few chickens and cows. dress how you want. do what you want. not strict. kind folks. southern hospitality and charm. if your looking for expensive and serious and have high expectations, look elsewhere. I personally know the owner and its been passed down from his father to him and hes kepts it the same way. it has alot of history. the people who play and come back know this and stay for that reason.

It's not for the weak or feeble.

I practically grew up on this golf course and I know that if it is an easy day of golf that you are looking for, this is not for you. You will be challenged to overcome natural obstacles and stretch your skills to a new limit. If you are looking for a challenge and can handle the pressure, this not-so-ego-pacifying course is for you.

Needs Alot Of Work!!!!!!

Need a hammer to put your tees on the tee boxs, golf carts are junk,
Greens are like tring to put over a gravel road. And the owner charges
green fees like it's a 5 star course!!! Not to mention the club house
smells like a urinal. You would have a better time playing golf at your local landfill!!! Green fees went up to $26.50

Wow, can you say cow pasture

I went to this course not expecting much, and that's exactly what I got. I would honestly compare it to a cow pasture with flags arranaged in a somewhat haphazard way. The tee boxes will remind you of a unkempt yard, and a decent amount of your lies will be out of dirt or sand, even on the greens. Speaking of the greens, they appear to be a mixture of St. Augustine and crab grass, fairly poorly mowed. In short this golf course is fairly cheap, $13.50 with a cart during the week. But be prepared to get less than you payed for. There are better courses that you could pay just a little bit more to play, or even a little bit less and have a much better golf expierence.

*(This Course received a 3 of 5 in the difficulty catagory only because most of the places you'll be hitting from whether on the fairway, tee box, or green will be some of the most uniquely horrible lies you have ever seen)
