A nice course well maintained. it rained when we played and there was little traffic on course. A slight oversight, no pictures of holes on scorecard or on hole signs! 100 yard markers were not on every hole making alot of shot inside of 150 yards a guesstimate as far as yardage to the pin. Overall fair value, good condition and challenging course design.

This once beautiful course has fallen into bad times. The greens were awful and fairways and tee boxes worse. Several bare areas in the fairways, the greens were in poor shape, some better than others and the tee boxes bare or brown or both. It is a shame the course has not been maintained.

We played Walkabout during January 2009 and enjoyed it tremendously. It seemed like a failing golf community when we got into it, and it pretty much is. But the golf course is very nicely designed, maintained, and a terrific value. Clubhouse staff was very nice and accomondating and would definetly play again.

This is one to play. Great rates for a really nice course with friendly staff. Other than no fancy clubhouse it is a really upscale course. When I call for a tee time I was told upfront that the greens might be a bumpy since they had just been topseended. Thanks for the warning. Lady friendy. Loved the course,

This is a great and challenging course. Everytime I have golfed here the course has been in excellent shape. I love this course, but have one problem with it.....if you play this course during the winter, plan on spending 4+ hours for a round, and be prepared to wait on every tee box. At one point we pulled up to a par 3 and there was one group going up to the green, one group on the tee box, and then us. I tried 3 different tee times, and the wait was still the same. Will come back and golf this course, but will wait for the "snowbirds" to leave.

the only reason for the 2/5 is they are going to build a club house to suit this course i came for the golfing.
just came back from titusville and did the internet looking for golf courses.golfed royal oaks and this was a disaster.hoped walkabout would be better.was i wrong this day they had dropped the price to 35.00 cart included. they should have raised the price to 100. or more and i still would have thought it more than fair value.i am a five hdcp and was third round of the year so was a little rusty.played the slope of 127 and when finished said that i would have to be golfing my ball to break 80.the course was immaculate the fairways were great the greens terrific bunker sand was playable.could i say more about the course than to say if you play any course in the region other than this you have booked the wrong one.try it first and see if there is an other one in this class
