The fairways are beautiful and are mowed very low. The ruff is well maintained. Also since they have been walk-mowing their greens, the ball rolls true. It is a very unique layout and their prices are exquisit! The golfcourse, in my opinion, is located on the prettiest land in South Georgia. --

Played this course for the first time recently and I really enjoyed it. Under newer management and he is getting it into better shape. Apparently course is very old, around since the 1920's. Large central lake, lots of hills and pretty long holes. Green fairly fast and roll well aloth there is some infiltration of fairway grasses. Course layout was a bit confusing. Bring cash - no credit cards or checks accepted! I would also rate this place as a "hidden jewel" as in another review here. I live about 25 miles away and never knew this place existed.

This course is a hidden gem. Most people have no idea it's there or what condidtion the course is in. I have been impressed the two times I've played it. The front nine greens are very small and the back nine are not much bigger but they are well taken care of.The course is not overly challenging but that's good for a high handicapper like myself. There is rarely anyone at the proshop so make sure and take cash to put in an envelope and slide under the door. There are 5 holes in which water comes into play. Over all for the $25 it is an awesome value considering there are more expensive courses in the area in worse shape.
