Fiddlers Green At Cecil Field Golf Club, Jacksonville, FL

After not playing any golf for 15 years, I have played this course several times in the last few months mainly to see where my game is after a long lay off. The course can be challenging with some nice holes. The greens are the slowest around but improving from first time playing. The tee boxes have more grass to them than before. However the fairways are extremely poor with little or no grass in some areas and not the type of fairway grass expected compared to nearby courses. The course is ideal for beginners, seniors, juniors and those that want to have an inexpensive round of golf. I enjoyed my day. Temps in the 70's first week in December. I got a great deal through Golf Link today.

No facilities for females other than at clubhouse. Very uncomfortable!

This course is a good course, and a good value, the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. This course is for the average, blue collar, frugal golfer, and there's many of us. The snack bar is good. Some of the holes are magnificant, and the greens are in as good of shape as any (as of 11/30/11).

The course has not had any real maintenance done in some time. It has some nice holes that would make it a good course if it got fixed up. But for $26 what do you expect?
