Southern Dunes Golf Course

The 18-hole "Southern Dunes" course at the Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club facility in Haines City, Florida features 7,219 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.7 and it has a slope rating of 135 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Steven R. Smyers, ASGCA, the Southern Dunes golf course opened in 1993. Shane Trice manages the course as the General Manager.

Green were crazy fast, might as well use a pool cue....
Fairways and rough in great condition. Pace of Play was fast.
Played two rounds in under 4 hours each. Staff was great.
Keep it in the fairway and youll be OK, it the traps and your dead.

This a really nice golf course. Played at 2pm so I was surprised that we didn't see anyone on the course in front of us. Lot of driving between greens and tee boxes. Price is a little steep, but worth it once in a while. Fantastic staff. Highly recommended.
