I don't know quite what to say. Nice course, beautiful area in spite of the houses. Problem is, over booked and extremely slow pay. The slowest play in the area and that says a lot. 1:30 tee time, and they forced us play with another two some. Now, I like to play and relax with a round of golf with my wife but the starter always makes us play with a two some of men or a single male. Come on now, at least ask if we'll pair up, don't just force it. It took from 1:30 until 6:15 to complete 18 holes today. At least we finished, we saw 10 t0 15 groups in front and behind us give it up and leave after the front 9. It was pitch black when we finished. Not a ranger is sight enforcing pace of play and that's because there is no pace of play. We may see this course in May after all the sunbirds and tourists leave but I doubt it. A waste of time and money. We came back in July. We actually did not have to pair up! But, it took 5 hours to play on a hot, humid and stormy day. Course is in good condition overall, greens ok and fairways and rough very good. We noticed 5somes, and 6somes. Most annoying was the 4 some in front of us that kept stopping the beer cart. Lightning all over the place and these folks were drunk and dogging it. 8 to 12 strokes to make it to the green and then, they squat to line up putts. Hey guys, you already surpassed the allowable number of strokes! My advice is 86 the beer cart and get a ranger out there to move along the pace of play. Still a nice course but slowwww. The east course was closed several years ago.
