This was the first time I played Eagle Springs and my experience was very favorable. The course is in good shape and was challenging for me. I was surprised by some of the small greens, quite a bit of water, and lots of elevation changes, but those were strong points in my opinion. Green fees are quite reasonable. I'll definitely be back.

This is a great golf course. Small Bermuda-grass greens are hard to hit and even harder to putt. If you get off the shortgrass there is all sorts of trouble. Rolling hills and pine forest with plenty of water make for challenging golf in a beautiful setting. Very modestly priced, DeFuniak Springs Country Club is well worth the drive from anywhere in the Florida panhandle.
