You can tell the course at one time was a beautiful track. But needs some tender care. No doubt it has fallen on tough times. But, still seems to be good value.

The '09 winter was brutal in central Florida but El Diablo rebounded in super fashion this fall. Course is in excellent shape, challenging but fair (bring your camera). Friendly staff & excellent food and 19th hole.

We played in early May, the tee boxes were all almost dead, the fairways were brutual and the greens were like putting on shag carpet. The staff was friendly, and there are some pretty holes, but if you like golf, stay away!!

I'm surprised that no one has rated this course for about a year now. So much has changed, it's amazing that no one has mentioned it. Brand new clubhouse, very polite staff - cute cart girls. New restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, and the rates are unbelievable. I remember when the focus was soley on the course, but now they've really improved their location. Course is still just as beautiful as ever, still harder than hell though. Worth the drive, we had an absolutely fantastic time... did I mention the cart girls?

rather difficult back nine! I thought it was going to be a peace of cake in the first half, didnt expect to play long on the back but was surprised. No walk in the park thats for sure.

El Dia-Blow?

Played this course 36 holes in 2/07. We were very disappointed after seeing all the positive reviews. "Clubhouse" consists of trailer with microwave burgers for lunch. Course conditions were spotty at best. There was not much real grass on the fairways. The greens were very nice, however. There were some very pretty holes as well. This course is nothing more than a glorified Florida muny at best. Save your money and go elsewhere. World Woods anyone?

The El Diablo

Playing this golf course was a wonderful experience. It was beautifully maintained and difficult but fair. I highly recommend the El Diablo to any skill level.

Played the last 2 years, we intend to play it again next year, twice in one week, I was there with agroup of 34 guys it was everybodies opinion that this was one of the best courses any of us had played, looking forward to next year again, the clubhouse is small which matters not to us, we sat around four tables, drank beer and raved about the course, if you are in this area don't miss it.

A devil of a course

This course is quite beautiful, well maintained, and offers some very unique holes for the area. Those who like links-style courses or courses with a lot of water need not play here. This place plays long, tight, and the greens are nearly impossible to figure out. It can make a 7-handicapper shoot 90, a 16 shoot 100, and a 30 wish he picked up another sport altogether. Those who like a true challenge will like this course.
