golf course is average for this area. Be advised that the managing personnel have changed and are unfriendly and dificult people. Their attitude and interpersonal skills are so lacking that they ruin the experience for the guests. NOT customer friendly.

Booked this course on golfnow app for a really good price on a business trip and was very surprised on the condition of the course. It has some challenging holes and nice views especially on the back 9. The employees were very nice. This course was not busy at all, I played by my self it was very relaxing. This course is very well kept up.

Have played Lake Jovita North and South recently. Hernando Oaks is in better shape. The cost is about half what you would spend at other courses in the area. Well worth the trip. Great course.05-06-12 update. Played yesterday and the course was in the worse shape I have ever seen it in. I think there must be some money issues because the place looks a little run down. Carts need to be replaced and the clubhouse they started building is looking rough.

Hernando Oaks has to be the best kept secret between Brooksville and Spring Hill. Fun course and great maint. After 7 rounds have yet to meet a Pro or GM. but everyone else is top notch. Price seems to be creeping up and most of the local hackers will stay away and that is good for me I am a W speed golfer. If you like 5 hour rounds head over to Oak Hill.

I have played many courses from FL,to SC, PA, and MI, and this is course is at the top of my list. The maint. guys under staffed do a tremendous job keeping this course pristine. One of the best kept secrets in the area.

Very nice course. Played Nov am round and replay was about 55 bucks. It is certainly worth more than that

This course is amazing. like said before the front nine goes through the housing development. but the back nine is secluded away from eveerything and will be that way for a while.

Greens are in perfect shape and the fairways are just awsome. Scenery is so nice and the tee boxes look to be cleaned every day no broken tee's everywere or beat up par 3 tee boxes.

will definetly be playing here often by far the best course anywhere in the area.

Wife and I had to get out of Michigan's winter and just drove aimlessly to Fl and looked for a course to play. Happened on Hernando Oaks and ended up playing the course 5 times during our 10 day stay. Started out on front 9 and thought "this is nice" and then made the turn. Back 9 is fantastic. No homes and an awesome par 5 finishing hole. Don't expect a fancy clubhouse since it's been setting for about 2 years unfinished because of some owner complications but food, beer and drinks are available at the temporary pro shop. We only paid $39 per person after 11:30. Great value. We played World Woods for $89 and I'm sorry but we would much rather play Hernando.

This is a beautiful golf course the only issue is drainage during the rainy season. Scenery and playability are two of the main reasons this course is one of my favorites.
