Played yesterday 6-12-2018 and was shocked. City spent $300,000.00 for new greens but they left the same management in place. Course manager (Ron) greens keeper (Glen) have turned this beautiful course into a waste area. Eight of the new greens have large bare spots with no grass, the fairways are yellow from the weed killer and the weeds still are present. The Lady behind the cash register was sure we were at the wrong course; the eight of us knew where we were and we wanted to play the Links, and when we tried to inform her, her reply was we are rude. A struggle to pay greens fees, a course that is almost gone and no support from management. Best advise is to go play another course and hope that the City of Boynton Beach comes up with a better solution to save this once great course.

Played this course the Friday after Thanksgiving under four hours with no problems from the rangers. Pace of play is an issue here but the people are so friendly and helpful its worth over-looking. Nice course, well kept for the amount of play it gets. My advice: go play it, keep up with the group in front and enjoy the 18 different holes. Price and condition make this a winner.

This course is nicely laid out, well kept up, but a bit pricey for a muni course. Other comments about player assistance are accurate, but it must be known that the city of Boynton Beach insists on this 3:45 pace. The city is so bent on pace of play that a serious problem has grown with negative player relations. Every time I mention Boynton Beach, I get a "roll your eyes" reaction and some outlandish story about keeping pace. One of my friends said (and I have no reason to doubt him) that his group was reprimanded for being "30 seconds behind". Get real, City of Boynton! My last round, I was grouped with three new acquaintances, nice guys, but we ended up behind their pace of play. It did little good to tell the "player assistance" representative that we were a hole and a half ahead of our nearest foursome. She insisted that we were behind and that we had to pick up the pace. To what purpose? What good is a pace system if you are that far ahead? Better for the course to review their pace of play system. What is the gain of this pace system? Nothing, but the loss is player confidence and customer return. We will remember this incident.

Golf in Florida sucks. Have not found a course I enjoy yet. Very Bland. With so many courses down here I don't understand how they get away with the rates they charge! Hard to believe.

Nice course but some of the greens were chopped up. Players assistant was a pain in the @$!*%. He kept telling us we were behind. We play the round in four hours flat that is normal for any foursome. I actually tried to hit the assistant so he would stop bothering everybody on the course. Would not go play there again.

Nice Course, greens very well kept. I know some people like to get done and out. But, the "player assistants" got pretty annoying. I mean, when they come up and tell you that you're "running 2 minutes behind" and you're waiting for the group ahead of you, come on. No cart girls, I guess this would speed up play because you're dying of thirst and need to get a drink ASAP. 3 hours and 45 mins. to finish, we finished at 3:50 and were stopped three times to tell us we were running 2-3 minutes behind. I'd rather spend more and not be harrassed.

The Links is a great course and they really insure the speed of play. Nice for a public course and it is also quite challenging from the back tees.

I live in town and frequent this course for keeping in practice. Should be played from the very back tees. If you play on the weekends good luck, as this is a timed course when busy. The staff is always friendly and they have a great juniors program. You can get around very quickly on afternoons and during twilight hours.
