I stayed at the resort and played Copperhead a few weeks before the Tansitions PGA tournament was to be played. As such, there was significant work being done to prepare for the tour. With the tournament so close at hand, I was surprised that the rough was not thicker and more challenging. The fairways were beautiful and the greens rolled nicely. There was not much break or other challenge to the greens other than their small size. The resort is quite nice and the club houses as nice as you will find at a course open to the unlicensed. This is certainly a top quality course and likely deserving of its ranking in Golf Digest as a top 100 public course in the US, but I don't know that it can justify a price tag of $180 during the week and $225 on the weekend.

I frequent Pinellas county often with my family which includes my wife and 2 boys. I especially enjoy playing golf at Innisbrook so we try to stay for at least a week every year. My last vist was in May 2010 and I played 2 of the courses with my wife and boys who also enjoy some of the other activities. We visit Bush Gardens for 2 days and then the rest of the time we stay at the resort. I have noticed the changes that have been made to the property in the last few years and I approve. My 2 boys love golf as well so it makes a complete family outing. My wife has always been very cheerful and full of joy. I noticed one of the golf employees in the pro shop getting a little close one day. I thought that he was just being friendly until he noticed me coming around the corner. My wife said that he told her that he lives local and that she should come out with him to a local bar. We got back to our room and she explained to me that he has been asking her if she was happy in her relationship with me and that she should call him. She was shocked. I am not sure if she gave him the wrong immpression but he persued her for 2 days and I noticed the other guys in the pro shop the next day looking at her after he was pointing and saying that's the one. I felt rather uncomfortable at this point so I asked for the address for the Owner and General Manager during checkout and sent a letter to them explaining everything that happened and stating that we will not be returning to the resort again. I have always enjoyed our stay at Innisbrook but after this experience with him. Justin who is the employee in question, we will not be returning again. His behavior towards my wife ( a resort guest) was unforgivable.
