Back Creek Golf Club, Middletown, DE

Golf course is excellent. Pro shop staff are professionals. The servers in the restaurant are insensitive to diversity. We are stronger when we treat all clients the same. After a round golf in three instances the servers have ignored me and my golf friends. We frequent the course a lot but the restaurant servers need to up their game.

Very disappointed in what happened today. Booked 2 t-times last week and was told lunch special would be included. When I arrived with several business clients, we were told the lunch special was not being offered.I had to treat my clients to lunch.We drove over 1 hour to play I will not return to the course, and will tell fellow golfers not to play FALSE ADVERTIsING !!!!!!

Great golf course. Joe has done a great job turning this golf course into one of the best of Delaware.

Back Creek still needs much attention. The greens are a hard sandy mixture where you can put right through the breaks and will only hold the greens with high trajectory shots. The fairways are the same as last year, they are hard with crabgrass growing and have many small bare spots. It is difficult to make golf shots with the current condition of the course. I am glad to see the course open and hope that it returns to its top form because it was a beautiful course. I wish the golf shop would be honest with the condition of the course when making tee times. Describing the course as being in excellent shape is misleading and only sets you up for disappointment. Also, I feel as though Back Creek should not be charging its current rates for play or in the snack shop. There are too many courses within 10 miles of Back Creek where the courses are in much better condition, the rates are the same or lower and you can eat there for fair prices.

This course has been brought back to life by the new owners. They spent all winter fixing it up, now it is back to where it should be. Beautiful course, nice clubhouse, kinda windy but I am sure that will be a blessing once summer hits!
