The 18-hole "North Course" at the Lake of Isles facility in North Stonington, Connecticut features 7,252 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Rees Jones, ASGCA, the North Course opened in 2005.
5 1/2 hour rounds, poorly maintained course, greens were beat up,garbage cans overflowing on every other hole...$ 200.00 to play?
A beautiful course and a no brainer to play when you head to Foxwoods.
I played this course in April of 2010 and it was a true gem. The course is very well maintained from tee to green and every hole creates a new challenge. Expect plenty of carry off the tee box and a few par 3's offering no bail out. You can see pictures and read my full review at www.wamgolf.com
