RIGHT NOW THE COURSE IS TORN UP TO REPLACE SOME OLD PLUMMING. SOME GREENS ARE IN TERRIBLE SHAPE AND NOT BEING WATERED. THE FAIRWAYS ARE IN DIRE STRAITS FOR LACK OF WATER.

This course needs a professional landscaper. Tees and fairways indistinguishable from rough. Crabgrass and weeds predominate. Greens and fringe dirt in many places. Course is pretty but upkeep completely takes away from setting. Too far away to ever do again. Groupon gift from daughter for fathers day took us there but even groupon won't get us back. Avoid. Plenty of better shape courses in ct.

This course has come around quite a bit since I have been playing. It use to be crab grass and clovers, but most of that is gone. They seem to be doing a much better job of maintaining it...plus the restaurant is open now.

Played Banner for first time in about 10 years or so. It is a work in progress but has come a long way. The fariways and tees have grass, the greens were fine, and they built a nice nice new clubhouse/bar. Some of the rough and cart paths need work but it looks like they are trying. Price was good also. Would play it again.
