The 18-hole "Skungamaug River" course at the Skungamaug River Golf Club facility in Coventry, Connecticut features 5,785 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. Designed by Joseph Motycka, the Skungamaug River golf course opened in 1965. Susan Motycka manages the course as the Co-Owner/Manager.

Grew up playing this course, always in good shape and its clear every year they are putting in the effort to make it better.

A tough little course, especially on the back 9. Unfortunately the course markings are a little raggedy. Some of the hole placards at the tees are missing, many yardage markers on the fairways are hard to read due to being worn down, and I don't recall seeing any red/white/blue yardage stakes. Water hazards are well marked though, and there are a lot of 'em.

All in all, a fun place to play a quick round for the price.
