I just played this course for the first time and really enjoyed it a lot. There's a definite premium on good driving because of the tight and tree-lined fairways. The course isn't long, 6400 yards from the tips, but tight fairways and well-designed greens can still make it a challange at times. The greens were in excellent shape and putted true despite being (a) poa annua, and (b) a muni. The pro shop staff was friendly and helpful. It was surprisinglly easy for me to get on as a walk-on single, and although it got quite slow on the back 9 (the 2 4-somes in front of us seemed to being playing golf by committee) it was still anm enjoyable day. I may well have found my new favorite and regular local course.
