Indian Valley Golf Course Description


The 18-hole "Indian Valley" course at the Indian Valley Golf Club facility in Novato, California features 6,450 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 70.4 and it has a slope rating of 124 on Blue grass. Designed by Robert Nyberg/(R) Kevin Ramsey, the Indian Valley golf course opened in 2004. Jeffy McAndrew manages the course as the General Manager.

Beautiful hill course with lots of elevation change. Tends to be dry in summer and muddy in winter. Sandwiches and beer in club house. Uphill canyon driving range realistically limited to short and mid irons. Limited parking during nice weather.

Nice views, lots of wildlife, and well maintained. There are lots of shots with elevation changes, and if you walk it their is always the opportunity to take the elevator. Another treat is that during the summer blackberry bushes grow around several of the tee boxes. A very nice reasonably priced course.

Lots of hills and wind. Small and tricky greens make this a very challenging course.
