Greatly improved over the past several years in terms of maintenance. Fairways generally well-manicured and greens roll true. Probably pricey for non-county residents, though, compared to other daily fee courses in northern New Jersey. No practice facility (other than a practice green and very small pitching area) or golf pro, play can be extremely slow during peak hours.

Rudest staff I've ever encountered at a golf course, especially the woman behind the counter, who acted like she was doing me a favor taking my money, and the starter, who was condescending. The course itself is beautiful and as a high-handicapper I found it challenging.

This is the nicest of the three Essex County courses. It is often difficult to get a good tee time for a weekend round, but when you can get on the course, it is worth it - even though a weekend round can take 5 hours. The fairways are typically in good condition and the greens roll nicely. They have performed a lot of improvements over the past several years that have increased the draw to this course. It is a nice round, even if it is not the most difficult course one can find. Always a pleasure to play.

Played the course today April 10th. Not worth the $66.00, greens were in terrible shape, fairways full of mud, bunkers hard as a rock. Save your money!
