Played this course probably 20 times over last 5 years. Conditions are top quality early in the season. Airation is always a issue so try to avoid those weeks.

Stow Acres South is an old style New England course with plenty of hills, water, doglegs, sand, and wildlife. I know the North course is rated higher; however, I believe the south course is better and harder. This is a true test to your game. Course management is a must in order to score.

To say the least, the greens were in great shape. opening hole is the most open on the course. the majority of the rest is pretty tight. seems like they crammed in this course. Some holes are just ridiculous w/ crazy 90 degree doglegs and elevated greens. I would say only 4 good holes on the South course. 2 of them being par 3s. I will not play this again. Play the North if you're coming here.
