More expensive than surrounding courses, and way worse all around than all other surrounding courses. Avoid this course at all costs...

The staff and the course was not worth playing on or with. The staff did not only hit on me, but the course was not in proper state for a good round of golf. If you want not attractive men to hit on you and a course that needs plenty of work with improper care of the game go play there.

Brookline Golf Club

The course is in a state of transition, but the construction was really not the problem. It was a beautiful day in June, and the greens were still riddled with aeration and lots of sand. The layout is clumsy, and the conditions are just terrible. The front nine, which I only played, is just a glorified cow pasture. With all of the money in Brookline, I'm just not sure how this can be. No, I didn't have a bad round, either, haha.

Not well maintained

I found there were a lot of golf etiquette rules ignored by some of the patrons but with this in mind the course should be repaired more often. Seeing bare spots on some of the fairways was not a good sign. I am sure Ouimet would agree.

Average local area course

Overall the course is a average metro area golf course. Play can be slow on weekday mornings and really slow on weekends. Members and regulars are mostly retirees, plan on at least 4.5 hrs to play 18.
