Sun Valley Golf Course, Valley Station, KY

The front nine at Sun Valley is traditional. If your handicap is low, your in business. Take your score from nine holes into the clubhouse, have a drink and a brat, then go home. The back nine is the exact opposite. Oddly positioned tees and “I think I cans”, will have you wondering where your score went before you cross back over Bethany Lane. Yes, it’s a goat path. Stay away from swamps and bunkers and you’ll be fine. If your a pro, pick another course. If your new to the game Sun Valley is your joint. This is a great course for showing an interested friend the game.

Stay away, stay far, far away. Is this the worst course in the state of Kentucky? Can't say as I haven't played all the courses in the state but I can say that it's the worst I have played. Would rather play The Crossings or even Maplehurst. Can't say anything positive about the course, layout, staff, bunkers, tee boxes, or anything else. I'm sure I won't be missed there but I won't be back.
