The 9-hole "Timberlinks" course at the Timberlinks Golf Club facility in Denton, Texas features 3,043 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. Designed by Lindy Lindsey, the Timberlinks golf course opened in 2004.
Tough little course. Both par 5s are sharp doglegs, one each to left and right. With three par 3s, it is a tough par 35 track. There are 4 sets of tees. Outside beverages are allowed, but only small coolers. Only snacks and non-alcoholic beverages in the pro shop. Helpful, but minimal, staff tries to help have an enjoyable round. No charge for an extra rider.
I played this course for the first time last weekend. It is a nice little course. It is nine holes, so you have to go around twice for 18. There are a lot of angles and slopes, so ball placement is critical. Fairways are narrow, and if you land on a slope your ball will roll off into the woods. Greens were fast and challenging. Good course. I will play again.
