The 9-hole "Desert Hawk" course at the Boulder Creek Golf Club facility in Boulder City, Nevada features 3,863 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Mark F. Rathert, ASGCA, the Desert Hawk golf course opened in 2003.
Far less crowded than the Vegas/Henderson courses.Course was in great condition. Greens were smooth. Fairways were nice to hit off.All of the rough was dead grass.Lots of dirt valleys to the left, right, and in the middle of the fairway. Have to play the course strategically to avoid the hazards.Traffic into Boulder City was a nightmare due to construction.
