diamond hill great course but not a very friendly staff from the pro down

This course is alot of fun to play,You would think that in florida we would not have the elavation changes but this course has it all.It has very tuff and long par 5's and tricky little par 3's over water and it is priced great.
The draw back to the prices are no cart service on the links.Water buckets that the gators won't drink from. The club house food is poor and over priced and that's being very kind. The staff is what you would expect from a discounted course rude, nasty a bunch of very un-happy snow birds. If this course would spend a little more time in hiring the right people as they have done on the up keep of the course this would be a 1st rate place to play, but until that happens just enjoy the course and remember the price

The people that play on this golf course and run this golf course take no consideration to the people that live around the course. They trespass knowingly vandalize properties when confronted the office says sorry we can not do anything and the golfers run away without even offering an apology. I think this golf course needs to improve the quality of it's employees and the people they allow to play on this course and consider that there is more people involved in this picture then just them. Have some respect. This appears to be an animal course not a golf course.

This could be a great course with a little money spent on it. It is not driver off every tee and requires some thought on how to play. Could have some better conditioning and a better driving range. Small practice area and if more than 2 people practice putting, it is very crowded. Watched a match with my high school age daughter recently and was surprised at the friendly help behind the desk and in the snack bar-a first. This is a fun course and could be the best in Hillsborough county with some money spent on it.

Great layout and decent PUBLIC course. Many challenging holes. Number is a tough one and many of the shorter par 4's offer plenty of trouble if you don't hit the correct tee shot. Played many rounds here. They never tell you at the clubhouse the shape of the greens. Ask. They can punch them at the weirdest times and you don't know it until your putting on the first hole.

Great challenge & value!

A fun course. The normal aggravations of a heavily played public course. But a course with lots of character and unique holes. Plenty of challenge and condition has been improving in recent years. But stay away if you can't handle slow beginner golfers. Worth the aggravation though if you enjoy a challenging unique course!

Course is in good shape - better then its been in years.
I would play it over Bloomingdale, Riverhills, or Buckhorn as of right now.
I think they have new ownership and looks like they are trying to make a run at it. Good luck guys. up date the club house now and you may have something.

I agree with teddie

yes teddie you are absolutely right on that. the course is great with a lot a mix, but the staff was less than friendly - but I was looking forward to playing a round fo golf with close friends and great course.

No. 9 and the elevated is worth playing. The course isn't well maintained but playable for decent practice. The golf cart chief is less than friendly and that's being kind.

agree with teddie

i completely agree with teddie. change the staff make it friendlier Clean the club house up dirty dirty

Play the course in the fairways and enjoy your round; play from the rough and Diamond Hill will take your cookies!!

Diamond Hill Golf Course

Several challenging holes , including the longest par 5 in Hillsborough County.

i liked the the course, you need to think about your culb off the tee. it is well mainten.

Course Condition

Over the years this course has been improved tremendously.

Great value. I agree that some money would greatly help out.
