This really is one of the best courses I've played in 20+ years of golf. As others have said - It's challenging, scenic, well maintained, and you need to keep the ball in play from tee to green. Slight warning - Don't go looking for your ball OB between May and September as there are pleanty of rattlesnakes out there. The only thing I would rate average is their food, but if you are here to golf, and enjoy a spectacular course with great views, look no further. I grew up golfing Desert Canyon on summer vacations, and while both of these are now under the same management, I prefer the newer Bear Mtn tenfold.
This course is one of the very best I have ever played. It is tough, well maintained, beautiful views, and fun. I cannot believe some people rate it only average. Must be a lot of golf snobs out there. For pure beauty and fun this is the place.
A must play in the Chelan area. Course runs through the hills with unbelievable views of the lake and wine groves. Best to play with someone familiar with the layout because it is tough and some of the holes definitely have a best way to be attacked. It is a little pricey unless you get the twilight rate. The twilight rate is very reasonable.
