Del Lago Golf Course Description


The 18-hole "Del Lago" course at the Del Lago Golf Club facility in Vail, Arizona features 7,206 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.9 and it has a slope rating of 135 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Timothy P. Nugent, ASGCA/Richard P. Nugent, ASGCA, the Del Lago golf course opened in 2000. Margaret Stevens manages the course as the General Manager.

12.3.17 - The course is great. Overseeding is really good and greens are very good at around 10. Beautiful course with a great deal of elevation changes. Tough but fare but play length to your ability. You will have more fun.

Beautiful course! Stunning views and lots of wildlife (rabbits, lizards, prairie dogs, ducks, road runners). the course is considered a target course, and it is awesome. I'm from back-east visiting, so i tried this course because it was away from town (20 minutes) so i though the scenery would be better... I was right. Well worth the 20 Minute drive from Tucson. the staff was sooooo friendly and helpful. they gave me $10 off the rental of a set a clubs (awesome set of King Cobras), and they let me grab some balls to practice on the range with the clubs. I don't give we reviews, but i rely on them, and there were none that did this course justice. Their website also does not do it justice. overall, just a great course, with an outstanding staff
