Tierra Verde Golf Club, Arlington, TX

Simply outstanding in every respect. The course lies in a nature preserve and on almost all holes it is not possible to see any other holes, immersing the golfer in the experience. You seem to have the course to yourself. Bunker sand is soft and fluffy, easy to escape. Greens have very subtle hard-to-read breaks and fairway bunkers are exactly in the right place to snag any shot not right down the middle. Get a yardage booklet before starting out because there are many hidden hazards out there. One of the most enjoyable golf experiences I've had - don't miss it!

Tierra Verde is a very nice course in Arlington and as the other reviewers indicated bring plenty of balls because it is a challenging course. The greens feel like carpet and the balls rolls great on them. My only complaint is there aer no Marshalls on the course in order to monitor play. For example, two guys drove back to us searching for a club so went back to last hole. We were hitting our 2nd shot but they returned to the fairway to continue play rather than joining their buddies on the next hole. I suggest that golfers use the www.golfq.com for discounts because we paid $35 on a Sunday after 2pm.
