The 9-hole "Jake Gaither" course at the Jake Gaither Golf Course facility in Tallahassee, Florida features 3,109 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The course rating is 34.2 and it has a slope rating of 110 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Frank Burandt, the Jake Gaither golf course opened in 1998. Rosie Keween manages the course as the Supervisor of Golf Operations.

This course is awful! The greens are mixture of grass and bare sand with clusters weeds coming up in other spots. It is obvious they let the grass get too long and recently mowed, there were clumps of cut grass in the fairways. There was no one to keep play moving, We were stuck behind groups and waited at every tee for 5-10 minutes at every hole. I will never play this course again, its a shame that this course is in such poor condition. It would be great for beginners or someone looking for a quick, cheap round.

Played yesterday. Very, very poor condition, nearly unplayable. Greens were terrible, hardly any grass on them. Fairways hadn't been mowed in days. I wouldn't play it again until it gets back to a playable condition. It's a real shame, because you can tell it could be a nice course if it was taken care of better.
