Under New Management - and That's a good thing!

Played here 4-24-07, first time in a few years. Course was BADLY neglected by prior management: now being run by Heritage Hills Golf Resort, which is only a few miles away. They have their work cut out for them, as every part of the layout needs serious work. Tee boxes are barren, fairways thin, bunkers nearly all under repair (we played 'em all as GUR), and greens are just awful. However, the layout and design are superb: course is pretty wide open, but there is a lot of elevation change, some water, and very few flat lies. Fairways undulate, lots of moguls, lots of fairway bunkers, and greens are medium large and well contoured. Clubhouse is a very nice structure, but almost empty as the new folks take hold. Staffer there today was very pleasant, and encouraged our return. Also got a $25 green fee, which included a sleeve of Callaway HX balls, so the investment was reasonable. Hope that HH will get this club back into the shape it deserves. Recommend you call ahead and check the status before heading out.
