The 18-hole "Lakes" course at the Bear Lakes Country Club facility in West Palm Beach, Florida features 7,439 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 75.1 and it has a slope rating of 142 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, ASGCA, the Lakes golf course opened in 2021.

Super course.

Played Bear Lakes on a nice, warm December Friday late morning. The course was in great shape. Water comes into play on several holes but the course is fair, especially from the green tees which we played on this day. There are many sets of tees for golfers of all abilities - the slope rating from the back tees is one of the highest I have ever seen.

The course is private, but we were able to play due to a buddy being a member of another local private course who got us on. It is very expensive, but if you can get on it and have some cash, give it a play.
