Pelican Point Golf & Country Club, Gonzales, LA

Would never recommend this course to anyone. Club Members are hell bent to complete a round of golf in 3 hours or so. If you are playing regulation golf and completing a round in 4 hours...watch out. The Members behind you will call the Club House and a Marshall will warn you to pick up play. Guess it's beneath Members to simply ask to play through? We play fast as a threesome but playing a round in 3 hours...what fun is that? We are out there to relax and play Regulation golf. Half star for the overall experience(s) at Pelican. Two stars for the course itself as the fairways are paper thin and greens sub standard.

This is normally a great golf course. Unfortunately, because of the heat and little rain as of late, the greens were in poor condition. The rest of the golf course was in excellent shape however.
