As a previous reviewer said, Skip this Course..!

Had an early tee time on a Sunday, 10 minutes PRIOR to my tee time the starter indicated that they were running "ahead" of schedule. Because my partner was not there yet, they say they are going to SKIP us, and they would not be able to get us out for 3 hours..!

My partner shows up, still PRIOR to our scheduled tee time and they hustle us out onto the course. Needless to say, we play shitty and are a bit slow (mostly due to the very nice retired undercover State Cop and his son partnered with us, The retired officer was slow based on injuries sustained taking down a drug trafficker. Apparently no allowances can be made for a person who put their life on the line…).

They then hound us on pace of play all day and end up forcing us to skip a hole.

I was LIVID. I am NOT a slow player. I’ve never been treated like that in 40 years of playing Golf. Starter had a complete attitude, and the on course Ranger was no better. Complained to the Pro after my round and he seemed sympathetic, but he never offered any recompense - not a refund, coupon or a lousy sleeve of balls.

I'll never drop another dime at this junk-hole and I recommend you don't either. There's no lack of nice courses in the area, including Atlantic, The Pinehills and Waverly, all of which treat you wonderfully.

STAY AWAY...!

The course was in decent shape. Too many side hill lies and blind shots for my liking. You really need to be able to shape your shots on this course. Took a riding cart but couldn't go on the fairways with it. On some holes it was a long walk from the cart path to my ball. But overall it was an enjoyable round of golf.

Very well maintained course that is challenging but also fair. The only small gripe would be that the ponds are growing algae and could be cleaned up a bit. Friendly staff is certainly a plus!
