The 9-hole "Jonesboro" course at the The Links At Jonesboro Golf & Athletic Club facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas features 1,970 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 31. Designed by Lyndy Lindsey, the Jonesboro golf course opened in 1997.
This is continually the worst run course in the state of AR. Bizarre rules, the WORST staff and an unmaintained course make this a complete waste of money. I cannot overstate the level of pure rudeness on display by the two guys I’ve met behind the counter. This is the first time I’ve ever left an online review about anything, and I had to search this site to find a place to leave a review for this course. So believe this, don’t ever go to the links course in Jonesboro AR. You’d be better off to dig a hole in your own back yard and charge yourself $99 payable to the society for worthless causes than to pay a penny to the links course in Jonesboro AR.
Course is not terrible but the guy that runs the prodesk is extremely rude. I’ve been 4 or 5 times and everytime someone walks in the door he acts very annoyed. It’s very frustrating to ask a few simple questions about cart availability or tee times and get attitude from a kid. I’m playing at the much nicer sage meadows for a while for the same price, hopefully that kid gets replaced.
