The 9-hole "Estates" course at the Twin Lakes Golf & Swim Club facility in Oakland, Michigan features 3,502 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Raymond Hearn, ASGCA, the Estates golf course opened in 1996.
Golfed the Estates/Links 1-18 combination on August 22, 2010. Course was not crowded and plays about 5 shots easier than surrounding courses. All holes were relatively straight-forward with a generous amount of fairway. Traps needed to be raked and groomed and some of the T-boxes were pretty ragged. The best part of the day was that we got our round in under 4 hours. The bottom line is that the $60 price does not translate to an exceptional facility.
