Piper Glen Golf Course Description

The 18-hole "Piper Glen" course at the Piper Glen Golf Club facility in Springfield, Illinois features 6,985 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.6 and it has a slope rating of 133 on Bent grass. Designed by Robert M. Lohmann, ASGCA, the Piper Glen golf course opened in 1996. Rodems Golf Management LLC manages this facility, with Bryan Cox as the Director of Golf.

Very Challenging. Extremely busy, but was able to complete the round in 5 hours. Late fall, so the condition of the greens was less than good.

Cool course, terrible greens. Service was fine. Overall it was okay. TPC is somewhat overated.

This is a very beautiful and challenging course. Check out Golf Digest who rated it amont the top 200 in the U.S. Great valu for the money. Especially the early twilight rates that start at 2pm. 18 holes for $25 with cart.

The people that own the Course is very stuck up. The course is in bad condition. Dont play it. It sucks!
