The 18-hole "Heritage" course at the Heritage Golf Course facility in Oneonta, Alabama features 5,945 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Designed by Bob White, the Heritage golf course opened in 1990.
The value at this course is unmatched. The course is challenging due to it's layout and thick rough. You have to be careful off of each tee to place yourself in a good spot to take your next shot. Pleasant scenery and a decently maintained course make this a good spot for some great golf. The greens could use a little work but there are definitely worse in the area. There are no bathrooms on the course but there were a few water fountains and a nice clubhouse at the turn. The hole of the course: the par 5 #9 is an exciting drive with a large boulder in the middle of the fairway. Play too far right and your ball will roll into the woods so be sure your left of the boulder because the fairway cuts hard right so the trees will come into play.
